C19RM 2021-2023

As of end June 2021,  the GF has awarded up to USD 16,926,519 to Rwanda under the C19RM. From the previously awarded C19RM, 91% have been spent and committed through ongoing tenders for COVID 19 health products as well as medical and laboratory equipment.

The initial award of USD 5.1 M was allocated for procurement of COVID 19 health products, medical and laboratory equipment, health commodities and reagents during the preparedness phase. During the response phase, as prioritized in the Infection Prevention and Control pillar of the National Preparedness and Response Plan, the C19RM supported mainly the (1) Personal Protective Equipment provision to Health Care Providers, including CHWs and peer educators of key and vulnerable populations from  Health Centers and Hospitals as well as CSO Umbrella organizations,  (2)
