About CCM Rwanda
The Rwanda Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM Rwanda) is the national governance body responsible for coordinating the country's partnership with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Established as a multi-stakeholder platform, the CCM brings together representatives from government ministries, civil society organizations, the private sector, academic institutions, faith-based organizations, communities affected by the three diseases, and development partners.
The CCM operates under the principle of inclusive governance, ensuring that all stakeholders have a voice in decisions related to Global Fund grant applications, implementation oversight, and strategic direction.
The CCM model is central to the Global Fund's approach — ensuring that those closest to the epidemics drive the response, with transparency and accountability at every level.
Rwanda's CCM has been recognized as one of the highest-performing coordinating mechanisms in the Africa region, consistently meeting Global Fund eligibility requirements and performance benchmarks.
