CCM Leadership
CCM Rwanda is guided by a leadership team elected from key stakeholder constituencies, ensuring diverse and representative governance of the national health response.
Chairperson
Dr. Jean-Baptiste Mazimpaka brings over two decades of experience in public health governance. As Chairperson, he presides over all CCM general assemblies and ensures that the CCM fulfills its mandate in coordinating Rwanda's Global Fund partnership.
Vice Chairperson
Marie-Claire Uwimana represents the Civil Society constituency and supports the Chairperson in strategic oversight. She leads stakeholder engagement with community-based organizations and key population networks.
Executive Secretary
Yvonne Kayiteshonga manages the day-to-day operations of the CCM Secretariat, coordinates grant oversight activities, and serves as the primary liaison with the Global Fund.
Permanent Secretary Representative
Dr. Patrick Ndimubanzi represents the Ministry of Health and ensures alignment between CCM activities and national health sector strategic priorities.
Effective leadership of CCM Rwanda means ensuring that every voice — from ministry officials to community health workers — is heard and reflected in our decisions.
