Rwanda has achieved a remarkable 47% reduction in malaria incidence compared to 2020 baseline figures, according to data presented at the latest CCM stakeholder meeting.
This achievement is attributed to the strategic deployment of long-lasting insecticidal nets, indoor residual spraying campaigns, and the expanded role of community health workers in early diagnosis and treatment.
The CCM played a critical coordination role in aligning these interventions with Global Fund grant resources and national malaria control strategies.
